Firmware glitch after an update

I recently updated the infotainment firmware on my 2018 CX-5 to version 74.00.324 to fix some connection glitches with Android auto....It worked which is great. However, after the update I noticed the Android Auto task bar is now locked to the bottom of the screen and I cant find a way to move it back to the side like I used to. Ive read that it might be related to screen size or DPI limitations but Im not looking to switch to a wireless setup just to change that. Has anyone managed to reposition the task bar on a 7 display without using extra hardware?

oh well, unfortunately, I think Mazda locked that task bar position with the update. You could try resetting the settings on the infotainment system though but it's a bit of a hit or miss. Some people try contacting their support for more control over that feature, but no luck so far.

Yeah tried resetting it and all but nah, its stuck like a brick lol. I guess I have to learn to live with it now. Anyway, thanks for responding.
