the MyMazda app keeps giving me a Vehicle Issue Detected - In-vehicle communication network malfunction message every time I drive. note thatI have a 20 CX5 GS with 15K on it i got it used. the car is not showing any warnings. Should I be worried about this error? Anyone else seen this?

Since you got it used, maybe there's a glitch in the system or a stored code that the app is picking up?
I find electrical issues tricky.. so I would consult my Mazda dealer in that case.
They can run a diagnostic check and see what's the actual issue.

That message you see in the MyMazda app is a common issue that often has to do with the telematics system (TCU). Since your CX-5 isn't showing any warnings, it's likely not a big deal, but you might want to get it sorted out. You could try restarting the car or disconnecting the battery for around 10 minutes to reset everything. Also, check if there are any software updates. Or let the pro handle it

I've had that pop up before on my CX 5 and the car itself never showed a fault. In my case it was just the app glitching, and a dealer software update cleared it up. No codes, then it's usually nothing urgent.
